This is Jack Taylor from York, England.
Actually, I hosted him 4 years (2016) ago in Tokyo too. You can see the article below.
This is exactly what I want to do!! Authentic friendship who lasts forever!!!!
Since I hosted 4 years ago, we got along pretty well and kept in touch for a long time!!! Then, he let me know that he is coming to Tokyo again, he decided to stay in my house again. I hope we enjoyed a lot.
Since Jack’s favourite Japanese food is Takoyaki, we cooked Takoyaki together like 4 years ago. The good thing is Takoyaki is that we can choose the ingredients inside, so that even vegan or vegetarian can enjoy Takoyaki party together!! This time, we choose cheese and Kimuchi and some vegetables inside.
While we are cooking Takoyaki, we talked a lot about what we have done last 4 years. I went to PNG and experienced what I cannot in Japan which gave me plenty of power to live for me. On the other hand, Jack traveled many countries and started working as a manager of a hostel in Kyoto. I hope both of us grew up compared to the picture blow( 2016 new years event, we did cosplay and went to Shibuya crossing )
After eating Takoyaki, we played Jenga and had a super fun time. To be honest, this is one of my favourite time recently.
Jack and Taka are like-minded friends. I want to have more like minded friends who keep in touch forever. Friends in need, friends in deed. I was pretty happy that Jack acted like second home in my house. I hope he will host me in York in the future. But I cannot write what we talked because 90% of it is like not polite in public. haha
Ramen time to say good bye
When we say good bye, we went to Ramen shop to be more Japanese from the bottom of our heart. We say good bye but I know we are going to meet again.
See you soon!! I enjoyed from the bottom of my bottom!!
