Corey is from USA. His origin is Jewish, Israel.
He is so smart that in every conversation, I was overwhelmed by his wisdom and clever statement.
He is super fan of Japan. So He stayed half year in Nagano prefecture.
He is a walking dictionary. I felt limitation of my knowledge when I talked to him.
We went to pop-culture festival in Tokyo and did some cosplay photos!!
He stayed one week with me but that was not long enough to talk about our common interests, to be honest. I hope he stay with me again or I become his couchsurfer next time.
This was my first couchsurfing experience, and it couldn’t have been better! Taka really cares about his guests, and sees them much more as friends. He is smart, funny, and giving. He has an expert knowledge of Tokyo, and enjoys hanging out and showing people around his favorite spots (or wherever his guests want to go). He somehow manages to find a lot of time to hang out with his guests, despite having a full-time job. I don’t know how he manages it. Also, his English is extremely good — there is no language barrier. Of course, as his profile says, his apartment is very small — this is the tradeoff for living right in the center of downtown Tokyo.
In short, I am convinced that there’s no better person to stay by in Tokyo than Taka. Especially if you want to get to know the city and meet awesome people!
